Krissh vs Superman

In the first thought, krissh vs superman seems such an absurd comparison. On one hand we have Superman, who has been in fantacy of children and adults throughout the world, while on other side we have our own Krissh. Last weekend Krissh was released in theaters worldwide and coming Friday superman will hit the silver screen.

So box office will see clash of the titans. Though I would personally love to see Superman winning the battle, but I expect that Krissh will the ultimate winner in Indian scene. Here are some of my thoughts about the same.

Indian hero
Krissh is hero from our own soil. We have seen him growing up and beating all the odds in last movie. We would like to see him again. Third world has many heroes but we dint have many super heroes. So we cheered ever shiity Shaktimaan and Aryamaan. Krissh is much better in look and appearance than others. Kids love to see Jaadu

More penetration
Krissh is released in all the cities and towns throughout the country. It will finally reach each and every small theater throughout the country. Superman will not be able to beat its penetration. I expect superman to do good business only in big and tier 2 cities. Most of the viewers in small cities will watch it on CDs only.

Publicity
We have seen poor Rohit in Koi Mil Gaya. Now he is the superhero for kids throughout the country. With krissh, the publicity is done at a larger scale. There are official merchandise available so is exclusive gifts and other promotions. And moreover these stuffs are cheaper than usual superman stuffs. It will be real tough for superman to beat it.

Emotions
We always loved movies with one hero, one heroin and songs. Superman can not offer this to us. Krrish is Hrithik and Priyanka. Both are today’s hottest cine face. Then there is somewhat popular music. Everything in favor of krissh.

What to say?
I am surely watching Superman
and not watching Krrish for sure.

there's a distinct lack of patriotism in your last comment...is this the example u set for millions of desi superhero loving kids, mums, dads? how can u admire someone who wears his underpants over his pants?
