Munich...

Munich is a classic made based on the Munich Massacre. The extent to which the movie represents fact is a matter of debate. Spielberg himself refers to it as "historical fiction" saying it is inspired by actual events.

There is big debate about the closeness of the movie to the real events. Both the sides have their strong points and facts associated. Everyone has interpreted the movie in their own way. Some say its pro-PLO where as other found it comparing Israeli assassins with the Palestine terrorists.

All the movies which are made on historic events face such kind of controversies. I am again stating my old belief here “history is always written by powerful for their benefit and they may not be totally correct.”

Every time such attempts are made to dig out history and truth about the events, same kind of sensation grips the whole world politics. CIA, KGB and kinds have unlimited dark secrets in their possessions and most of these new findings are uncovering those dark truths. These power centers of the world then shell out their full energy to save their own bad deeds. Sometimes it’s in the betterment of the whole world. But truth is truth, which will come to reality one day.
