Before I leave this campus. I am going home for a long well-deserved break. 14th Sept I fly to Paris. So that gives me exactly 16 days at home. This sounds a long break. I haven't had such a break for ages now. Ok ok, those of who you know me might want to count this summer in Mumbai as one long break. So well, I don't disagree with you here. Atleast the result of the trip do support the fact that I did not do anything except taking a break. I don't regret.
So what do I plan to do in this break? As usual I have no clue. And more than that I have no control. When I go home, my time is not my time. It's everyone's. That's the magic. You don't feel so important anywhere in this world except at your home.
I have to do lots of shopping for my trip. Roti Kapda aur Makan (ka saaman). The basic elements required for surviving anywhere in this world. More than that, I have to prepare myself mentally for the trip. It might sound trivial but it is the most important thing for me. Let me know if you have any "Foreign Trip for Dummies."
ps: Today's BGL exam had a question giving us 20 terms that were used as part of discussion in last three months. We had to make relevant pairs and then write coherent essay involving those pairs to give essence of the course. I wonder from where do our professors get such creative ideas. :D

1. If you don't get it, you don't need to get it.
2. I know atleast one person will surely curse me after seeing this. :)
3. [Disclaimer] The Tshirt is designed for personal use only. No commercial use intended.

College ke gate ke is taraf...
Thoughts these are days are anything except structured.
I am listening to "Still Loving You" by Scorpions and reading a boring article on "Ideology And The Missionary Organization."
WTF!! I never imagined studying strategy can be so boring.
Last night, I realized that I lost some of the most precious photos during recent hard-disk screw-up act. I can not curse myself more. I just can learn from this mistake and take backups from now on. :( RoDe's word don't seem to go out of my mind - "We may stay on here... But these moments may not... So hold on to them... Coz we have got nothing else..."
In less than a week I will leave this campus for a long 4 month break. It feels odd to even imagine that. Last 14 months or so, life has been revolving around these red brick walls of WIMWI. Life here has been a comfort to say the least. When someone says it is a lifetime of joy bundled in two year, she is not exaggerating.
It will be a new start again. A sense of nervousness is engulfing me. It's going to be new place, new country, new people. And I will be on my own again. It takes time to build a support system. And it is not the best feeling to build one as frequently as this.
ps: "Mein ye college nahi chodna chahta... yaha DJ ki koi aukat hai.. College ke gate is taraf hum life ko nachate hain aur doosri taraf life humko nachati hai. " DJ to Su in RDB

Some Conversations
Me and N
N: Isn't it amazing to know that after fighting battles and war with the outside world, at the end of the day there is someone to whom you can run and just be yourself!
Me: Who is that someone?
N: It's your love...
Me: hmmm... My experience says that to be in the world that you are talking about, it takes a lot of effort.. and lot of time... And don't take it for granted in a relationship.
N: Very true, You know everything.
Me: Not everything... But kuch galtiya to ki hai past mein.. so kuch to seekha hai...
N: any experience that does not teach you anything is a mistake, all others are lessons.
Me: Vo bhi hai...
Me and P
P: Somehow, the only thing i feel like doing these days is = :) read your blog today after long!
Me: Which one? I have almost stopped writing. Today I was wondering "why that happened?"
P: Probably because you've got too much on your mind off late
Me: Actually yes..But its not productive.
P: Most thoughts aren't. Weirdly, isn't this when you should be blogging the most? I have a personal blog on which I blog only when I have a million thoughts on my mind
Me: hmmm... I do that too.. But then it becomes a crib post. And after an extent I start hating myself for such posts.
P: When you're the only one who's reading your blog, six months later, the crib posts become funny, and you realize how much you've matured.
Me: Haan may be...
P: But i guess you're past the wait-i'm-still-growing-up-stage!
Me: Hmmm... Who knows...
Me with R
R: My first boss had a year's experience of ABC before he started his own. It took 7 yrs for the organization to reach to break even point.
Me: Oh my god... That is long. To sustain and keep the enthusiasm going for that long must be a real tough task.
In the class
Who amongst Jai and Veeru (of Sholey fame) was taking a discretionary decision and who was taking an arbitrary decision? Answer is Jai was taking decision based on his discretion. He knew what decision he wanted to take and acted accordingly. While Veeru did not bother about it. He did not have any logic to his choice. He was taking arbitrary decision.
ps: 700th post.

End of TNite
TNite fever is over. My apologies for not giving reports of last couple of days of activities. Somehow my involvement reached such an extent that I just could not find time for anything else. It was an amazing experience. We, Aandhi came third. It did break some hearts. But then we realize that it was not about winning only. The fun we had in last couple of days or so was just unimaginable. I got to know a bunch of super enthusiastic people. I don't know how much time I will get to interact with those due to my exchange program. Still, atleast ek kadam to aage badha...
Abhi, time for some crazy assignments. And some planning for Eurotrip :D
In the mean time, do fill in the survey that I had floated yesterday. I promise to treat each one of you for this generous gesture. Here is the link to yesterday's post.

Aandhi is here...
Aandhi has stormed the WIMWI campus. Their enthusiasm is simply superb. The green wave rocked the LKP amidst the darkness that has been spread by Barood, Dare-in-day and PGPX (I am forgetting their names - it was a no-show from them last night. Here is a glimpse of the sections that are fighting for the glory this TNite:
1. Aandhi - APos to Anthrax and Aandhi. Was it a smooth transition. Cannot say. But they did create a great amount of excitement. With their section flag, CR as Aandhiman (with this red chaddi above the jeans pant), cheerleader girls with pompoms, 2 huge dhols, superb turnout on Pubrun and afterwards, they put a really good show. They were able to make the most of the day with securing the best positions in mess. Now the onus is on creatives to do the justice to efforts put by Pubrun guys and gals.
2. Barood - They have a fire-spitting dragon as their logo and put threat which sounds something like 'ab sabki jalegi.' My sense says that with their black tshirt (which incidently is being used by two more sections), they stand to face an identity loss until they do something substantial. The big banner was good idea, indeed. Will watch out for some more dhamakas from them. Bichchoos must be working hard, I am sure.
3. C'zzlers - Dressed in fluorescent orange, they stand out. Yes, they stand out. Their entry was made special by the super-enthu dancer who was leading the march. Amazing stuff from him. Otherwise, they disappointed. They tried to RCP Aandhi by getting some cheerleaders on board. Alas, they did not know their job at all. And the rest of section was too indulged in their dance party.
4. Dare-in-day - Also called as Darinde, section D is another of the black tshirt gang in the town. Nothing new on offering as from what we saw during Pubrun. Their Tshirt seem to have copied atleast one design element from D3 Tshirt that Rajkul papa had designed. However, I will give them the benefit of doubt. "Dare-in-day ... Rule-d-nite" is what their Tshirt reads. Hopefully they will put a good show in next couple of days.
5. PGP-X - They rocked last TNite with their enthu and creativity. I have full respect for them. Alas, did not see much of it last night. I am hoping, they have something good to offer. As of now, I am not able to recall their name. Will write about them soon.
So now that I have talked about all the teams that are in the race, let me talk about the first stage of the game. It's called LKP Nite. For those of you who know about WIMWI, LKP is the the heart of this campus. This feature is coming back to TNite after a long break. It will be interesting to witness it in evening. Tonight, the events include a fashion show and some dance performance. As usual, entries and exit sequences will be thing to watch out for too. So hoping for a good fun filled evening. And I sign off.

Friend, Buddy, Pal...
You have been all of these to me...
I can not think of a moment when I felt alone.
'Coz you, my dear friend, were always there...
