This one is taken from Ji Mantriji. This serial is based on the original YES MINISTER by Jonathan Lynn & Antony Jay.
Episode: Janata Ki Maang
[Mantri Sri Suryaprakash's diary continues]
I must say I was really impressed [with Kaul]. I asked Kaul if he had ever thought of going into politics. He shook his head.
'Why now?'
'Well, Mantriji, I once looked up politics in the Thesaurus.'
'What does it say?'
'Manipulation, intrigue, wire-pulling, evasion, rabble-rousing, favours, licences... I don't think I have the necessary qualities.'
ps:
I just now finished reading one more book in the series Ji Mantriji. The serial with Farookh Sheikh as mantriji (minister), Jayant Kriplani as the department's secretary and Paritosh Sand as Kaul is unarguably one of the best comedy in the history on Indian TV.
